Dan Machlin is a poet, performer, editor, and UX Designer who lives in New York City. His work has appeared in The Colorado Review, Oversound, The Tiny, SplitLevel Journal, The Recluse, BOMB, Brooklyn Rail, and at The Poetry Foundation. His books and chapbooks include Dear Body: (Ugly Duckling), 6×7 (Ugly Duckling), This Side Facing You (Heart Hammer) and In Rem (@ Press). He was a 2012-2013 Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Workspace writing fellow and has received awards from CLMP/Jerome Foundation and Fund for Poetry. He is also the Founder and Executive Editor of Futurepoem books.
